Sureserve Compliance Central offers market-leading heating and hot water solutions from regional offices across the East of England and the Midlands. We seek a proactive and reliable Multi Skilled Operative for our dynamic renewables team with excellent organisational skills, strong problem-solving, and ability to work independently in high-pressure environments.

The role involves handling minor repair and maintenance jobs in plastering, minor electric, and carpentry, plus pre-planned maintenance and reactive repairs. Carry out service works on renewables, domestic and commercial properties across the region while engaging in productive communication with clients. Ensure high levels of customer care to meet quality standards.

Adhere to all Health and Safety requirements including Risk Assessments, Safe Systems of Work and COSHH Records. Comply with stock ordering and auditing procedures for job fulfilment. Requirements

  • Proven experience in a similar role and field
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Highly organised and able to manage multiple tasks
  • Reliable, punctual and a team player
  • Driving Licence
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Strong problem-solving abilities
  • Capacity to work independently in high-pressure environments

Responsibilities

  • Carry out service and maintenance works on a variety of renewables, domestic and commercial properties across the region
  • Handle minor repair and maintenance jobs in plastering, minor electric, and carpentry
  • Perform pre-planned maintenance and reactive repairs
  • Ensure high levels of customer care in dealing with clients and tenants to meet quality standards
  • Communicate updates and progress of work, completing required paperwork electronically and manually
  • Adhere to all Health and Safety requirements and legislation, including Risk Assessments, Safe Systems of Work and COSHH Records
  • Comply with stock ordering and auditing procedures to ensure parts availability
