About this role

Our Digital Infrastructure Group has been at the forefront of creating a new generation of communication infrastructure for over 40 years. We specialize in network development to complete telecom life cycle solutions, datacenter retrofits and modernization, to full datacenter buildouts. These services include design, construction, updates, and maintenance of new and existing datacenter facilities.

The selected candidate will be assigned to one of our functional groups in an Entry Level Construction Management position. Assist in estimating, cost control, forecasting, trend analysis, change order control, risk assessment and management. Support forensic schedule analysis, earned value management, progress measurement and reporting, productivity analysis and calculation.

Join the team in our Virginia project office assisting with engineering and constructing the expansion of a data center. Must be available to work onsite near Dulles airport area and arrive by 6:00am EST. Targeted work hours are 6:00-4pm EST, Monday-Friday.

Our graduate hire positions are for those who have recently graduated and are looking to launch their career. Regional programs and opportunities are available in a variety of fields. Only local candidates will be considered with no relocation assistance.

Requirements

  • Construction management, electrical, mechanical, or technical certification required (graduated in 2023 or after) in a 2- to 4-year program
  • Available to work onsite near Dulles airport area and arrive by 6:00am EST; targeted hours 6:00-4pm EST, Mon-Fri
  • Computer literate and proficient with Word and Excel
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to travel as needed
  • Local candidates only (no relocation assistance available)
  • Maintain efficiency and productivity in a fast-paced work environment and effectively communicate with other project members
  • Eligible to work for any US employer without current or future visa sponsorship

Responsibilities

  • Assist in estimating, cost control, forecasting, and trend analysis
  • Manage change order control, risk assessment, and risk management
  • Perform forensic schedule analysis and earned value management
  • Handle progress measurement, reporting, and productivity analysis and calculation
  • Oversee subcontractor management, schedule development, and progress reporting
  • Conduct vendor management, field engineering, site safety, and overall product quality
