About this role

We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in North Northamptonshire to appoint a Multiskilled Operative on a 3-month contract, highly likely to be extended at client discretion. This role demands an experienced professional with a minimum of 3 years' trade background to deliver high-pressure reactive repairs service within occupied social housing. Qualified trades professionals are needed to handle a wide range of maintenance tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Day-to-day involves delivering reactive maintenance and repair services across occupied social housing properties. You will complete various trade tasks such as carpentry, plumbing, tiling, plastering, bricklaying, fencing, flooring, and groundworks. Respond to emergency callouts within 24 hours while finishing standard repairs within 30 days.

Work spans a large housing stock, managing high volumes of repair requests in occupied environments. Carry out void property works to bring homes up to lettable standard. The high-pressure, reactive setting requires reliability and flexibility for rota coverage.
