Batch Plant Operator

This position is responsible for all activities related to the safe and efficient production of a portable concrete plant. Testing of materials and managing controls to weigh and mix aggregate, cement, and water are essential elements. The Batch Plant Operator handles setup and tear down, ordering material, maintenance, and record keeping.

Daily tasks include overseeing plant operations and coordinating paperwork with superintendents. Repair machinery using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment, with electrical repairs favorable. Operate front-end loaders while ensuring equipment remains safe and efficient.

Work in a fast-paced environment, multitasking and collaborating with others. Demonstrate excellent communication and organizational skills. Follow company safety policies, environmental regulations, and maintain accurate reports.

Gain thorough knowledge of concrete batching and become computer literate. Obtain ACI Level 1 certification within the first year of employment. Regular attendance is required for this hands-on role.
