As Site Construction Manager, execute project assignments across the USA, coordinating engineering and construction services for water, sewer, treatment facilities, and heavy industrial projects. Lead assigned projects to ensure on-time, on-budget completion and client satisfaction with scope and schedule. Oversee construction management services including rehabilitation and new builds.

Manage Field Representatives and Project Managers while establishing positive client relationships. Troubleshoot heavy construction phases, review shop drawings, and supervise build activities. Schedule contractors, equipment, job meetings, and generate pay applications, change orders, and cost summaries.

Oversee onsite quality through inspections, subcontractor QA/QC reviews, and sign-offs. Resolve onsite questions using judgment and communicate engineering needs to project management. Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in Construction Management
  • Heavy industrial or steel industry experience preferred
  • Extensive site-based, multi-discipline construction management on large-scale EPCM and EPC projects preferred
  • Experience with water and sewer projects including treatment and storage facilities
  • Familiarity with construction management for heavy industrial projects
  • Bachelor’s or Technical Degree preferred

Responsibilities

  • Ensure satisfactory completion of construction activities on project schedule
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with clients
  • Manage Field Representatives and Project Managers
  • Review shop drawings, render design drawings, and supervise build phase
  • Troubleshoot all phases of heavy construction and operations work
  • Schedule and run/attend job meetings
  • Generate pay applications, work directives, change orders, cost summary estimates, bid tabs, and project cost schedules
  • Oversee onsite quality including inspections, sign-offs, and subcontractor QA/QC coordination
