US · Full-time · $118,000 – $135,000

About this role

As part of Intersect’s Operations team, you’ll help ensure the performance, safety, and long-term reliability of utility-scale solar and energy storage assets at the Quantum I/II site. This role blends hands-on fieldwork with technical problem-solving, serving as a critical bridge between on-site operations and centralized Technical Services. You’ll build deep expertise in plant performance, maintenance quality, and contractor oversight.

This role focuses on driving technical insight and reliability through root cause analysis support and field liaison duties. You’ll gather field data, download equipment logs, and coordinate condition monitoring activities like infrared, ultrasound, and NDT. These efforts contribute to fleet-wide improvements and precise maintenance execution.

The Operations team advances Intersect’s mission to accelerate the renewable energy transition by ensuring generation assets perform safely and efficiently at scale. They combine technical expertise, data-driven decision-making, and strong field execution while working cross-functionally with engineering and external partners. This delivers real-world impact in clean energy infrastructure.

Designed as an early-career growth opportunity, you’ll develop foundational skills to lead a world-class power generation facility. Learn the full scope of site operations from technical diagnostics to safety leadership and contractor management. Contribute meaningfully to plant reliability from day one while joining an aggressive growth trajectory.

Intersect maintains a fully flexible workplace with Team Week gatherings four times a year and Hubs in key areas to foster connections. Candidates within 60 miles of Hubs support in-person interactions alongside remote culture. Operations remain separate under the Intersect brand post-acquisition.
