About this role
As a Project Manager, you will be the central person responsible for bringing projects in on time, within budget, with quality workmanship, and meeting customer expectations. This role involves scheduling and sequencing construction activities with labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors. You will manage conflicts to ensure a productive and safe work environment.
You will develop detailed project estimates using estimating software and participate in proposal development. Serve as the primary client contact while forecasting costs and managing resources accurately. Direct day-to-day tasks like RFIs, submittals, contracts, and change orders.
Interface with project team members, division managers, and supporting offices to promote open communication. Collaborate with coworkers, subcontractors, and customers through periodic meetings. Coach and support team members on assigned tasks.
Establish project objectives and performance standards per corporate policies. Implement lessons learned for continuous improvement and embrace technology enhancements. Perform project closeout and cost reconciliation.
Requirements
- Must have 5+ years of electrical background
- Must have 3+ years of project management, estimating and cost control skills
- Demonstrated understanding of civil, architectural, mechanical, and general construction techniques
- Proficient in the use of MS Office, MS Project, Primavera (P6) and Accubid estimating software
- Extensive knowledge of safety protocols and procedures
- Excellent interpersonal, conflict resolution and communication skills
- Strong planning, leadership and team building skills
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
Responsibilities

- Maintain accountability for project execution and successful completion
- Accurately forecast project costs, expenses, and utilization of resources
- Function as the primary contact with the client in delivery of project
- Manage and direct subcontractors and material procurement
- Manage day-to-day administrative items such as RFIs, submittals, contracts, change orders
- Lead periodic project meetings internally and with the customer
Benefits
- Annual salary between $98,000 to $131,500
