About this role
Join the Worldwide Grocery Real Estate & Store Development (WWGRD)-New Store Construction team as a Construction Manager. Oversee the execution of complex construction projects through strong cross-functional partnerships and external partner management. Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Oversee day-to-day project execution in partnership with internal teams, ensuring alignment on schedule milestones and budget targets. Serve as the primary liaison between construction project teams and internal partner organizations. Foster collaboration and clear communication across stakeholders.
Align delivery from external project managers, architects, design consultants, contractors, and subcontractors to meet project requirements. Manage customer and external partner relationships, meeting with stakeholders to define parameters. Support negotiations of agreements with customers, suppliers, and external partners.
Collaborate with internal teams to eliminate risks to innovation or customer satisfaction. Monitor project execution metrics, report challenges, and ensure corrective actions. Recommend improvements to project scoping, building, testing, and deployment while executing operations autonomously.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field
- Experience as an Architect, Engineer, Construction Manager, Development Manager, or Owner's project management representative
- Experience in Commercial Development and Construction related disciplines
- Experience in project management from design phase through implementation and operation
