About this role

Provide cost and contracts administration services for construction projects at Cushman & Wakefield. Carry out cost control to ensure material procurement tender schedules stay within the client's allocated budget. Prepare financial projections and manage budgetary expenditure control for contractors' contracts prior to work commencement.

Evaluate contractors' claims through joint measurements for purchase orders and works orders. Administer term contract works before and after project start. Compile, check, certify, and confirm invoices to match orders accurately.

Review specifications, evaluate tender submissions, and recommend selections. Prepare tender documents, variation agreements, and contract documentation for execution. Monitor performance bonds, bankers guarantees, and required insurances.

Requirements

Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying recognised by Singapore Institute of Surveyors & Valuers
Building-related diploma or degree recognised by SISV
At least 3 years of relevant working experience in quantity surveying
Minimum of 3 years relevant experience as a QS or Contract Manager
Familiarity with tender evaluation, contract documentation, and performance bonds
Knowledge of progress payment claims and variation agreements

Responsibilities

Prepare and report financial projection and carry out budgetary and expenditure control of contractors’ contract
Prepare and recommend monthly progress payment claims and final account submitted by term contractors
Evaluate and carry out joint measurement with contractors on their claims for purchase order/works order
Administer term contract works to be carried out by contractors before and after start of work
Compile, check, certify and confirm contractors’ invoices to ensure they tally with purchase order/works order
Review and prepare specifications, evaluate and recommend tender submissions
