Establish client requirements and undertake feasibility studies to kick off projects effectively. Attend onsite and consultants’ meetings, liaise with clients, architects, and associate consultants in project administration. Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to calculate accurate project costs.
Prepare main building contracts, piling contracts, and nominated sub-contracts for tender and formalization. Measure and take off quantities for architectural, infrastructure, and structural work elements. Administer pre and post contract consultancy work while assessing variation orders and preparing interim valuations.
Work collaboratively in a global team driven by a common purpose to deliver a better world. Demonstrate passion, results orientation, and commitment to company and client. Mentor juniors and provide guidance while performing self-checks on work products.
Undertake cost analysis for repair and maintenance, allocate work to subcontractors, and provide advice on contractual claims. Maintain awareness of building contracts and statutory regulations. Contribute by solving problems and applying experience to projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Building / Quantity Surveying or equivalent qualification
- 8 years of experience within pre and post contract in consultancy / main contractor environment
- Builder and/or infrastructure project experience advantageous
- Demonstrate passion, be results orientated and commitment to the company and client
- Contributes by solving problems and applying experience to typical projects
- Mentor and provide guidance to juniors
- Performs a self-check of work products before submitting them to others
- Works collaboratively with guidance on how to complete unfamiliar work activities
Responsibilities
