About this role
Vertiv is hiring a Package Manager – HVAC to oversee and coordinate the installation and testing of HVAC systems across key construction and infrastructure projects. You'll ensure all HVAC installations meet design specifications, energy-efficiency expectations, safety requirements, and project timelines. This role offers hands-on technical involvement and cross-functional coordination for large-scale project delivery.
Support presales teams with HVAC expertise and prepare project execution plans and organizational structures. Collaborate with site managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure successful project delivery while troubleshooting and resolving HVAC system issues. Provide operational training and support to client personnel on-site.
The role involves 50% office work in Zagreb and 50% travel throughout EMEA to customer sites. Adapt to diverse environments while maintaining high standards of safety and compliance in changing site conditions. Work within multi-disciplinary teams in a global company powering data centers and critical infrastructure.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience as HVAC Engineer, HVAC Package Manager, Mechanical Engineer, or similar
- Strong knowledge of a wide range of HVAC systems and technologies
- Proficiency with testing, commissioning, and diagnostic equipment
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within multi-disciplinary teams
- Willingness to travel to project sites as required (approx. 50%+)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
Responsibilities
- Support presales teams with HVAC expertise and practical experience

- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of HVAC industry standards, technologies, and best practices
