Focus on cost management and procurement for early works phases, including site preparation and initial builds. Handle quantity takeoffs, estimates, and subcontractor tenders. Monitor expenditures to ensure project budget adherence.

Report directly to the Senior Director, Project Controls as an Individual Contributor. Collaborate within project controls and procurement teams on construction trades initiatives. Operate in a dynamic environment aligned with construction shift demands.

Contribute to early project success through precise commercial control. Leverage Worley's global expertise in professional services for construction delivery. Engage in procurement contracts that drive project momentum.

Requirements

Quantity surveying background in construction projects
Experience with early works such as site clearance and temporary facilities
Knowledge of procurement contracts and tender processes
Familiarity with cost control in building trades
Proficiency in construction estimating practices
Understanding of project controls in procurement environments

Responsibilities

Prepare bills of quantities for early works packages
Develop cost estimates and forecasts for site preparation and initial construction
Manage procurement processes and subcontractor tendering
Administer contracts and handle variations for early phases
Track project costs and provide commercial reporting
Conduct quantity takeoffs from engineering drawings
Support value engineering to optimize early works budgets
