About this role

The Quantity Surveyor manages cost management, procurement support, and contract administration for Design & Build data center projects. This role focuses on CSA works, including civil, structural, and architectural elements across various project stages. Provide critical cost advice during design development and construction phases.

Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and cost plans while monitoring project costs and tracking variations. Conduct cost analysis, benchmarking, and support value engineering initiatives. Evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations to deliver informed recommendations.

Prepare and review tender documents, BOQs, and cost breakdowns for CSA packages. Assist in administering subcontracts and main contracts, assessing progress claims, variation orders, and final accounts. Ensure compliance with contractual terms through meticulous documentation management.

Requirements

  • Diploma in Quantity Surveying / Building / Civil Engineering or equivalent
  • At least 3 years experience in CSA quantity surveying or construction projects
  • In-depth understanding of construction, materials, pricing and industry
  • Understand bid/tender documents/drawings/specification
  • Familiarity with BOQ preparation and tender processes
  • Knowledge of contract administration and progress claims certification
