United Infrastructure is a dynamic and rapidly expanding business focused on delivering critical infrastructure projects across utility and social infrastructure sectors. Join the thriving Social Infrastructure team as a Senior Quantity Surveyor to serve as the commercial lead on projects. Drive commercial success while adhering to administration procedures and promoting collaboration with clients and supply chain.
Negotiate terms and conditions of subcontracts, manage payments for specialist subcontracts and key suppliers, and ensure strict compliance with contract terms. Analyse the impact of changes, assess liability exposure, and coordinate amendments in line with Partnering Contracts. Undertake site visits to monitor contract progress and performance in terms of program and cost.
Work collaboratively with clients, subcontractors, and the project team to track obligations and resolve issues. Capture cost variances, collate Defined Cost Records for audits, and maintain change registers. Produce monthly reports including Cost Value Reconciliation and Earned Value Analysis.

Requirements
- Highly computer literate including Microsoft Office
- Confident in managing and working with large data sets
- Experience serving as commercial lead on construction projects
- Knowledge of Partnering Contracts and change management
- Proficiency in contract administration and site progress monitoring
- Skilled in cost variance analysis and Defined Cost Records
- Familiarity with Pain/Gain reporting and liability assessment
Responsibilities
- Negotiate terms and conditions of subcontracts

- Report monthly on outturn Pain/Gain
- Coordinate changes or amendments in accordance with Partnering Contracts

- Generate Earned Value Analysis reports
- Maintain change registers and provide commercial elements for reports
