
About this role
The Mobile Plant Operator supports the Operations department in inbound processing and outbound materials handling at Enva's Tilbury site. Key duties include loading containers, operating and maintaining loading shovels and static equipment, load inspecting, and general housekeeping. A Loading Shovel 360 or Telehandler licence is required for this permanent full-time role reporting to the Shift Manager.
Start each day by reviewing the production plan and completing start-up checks on machinery, reporting any defects. Ensure material availability for continuous production and support site operations by emptying tip bins and moving materials as requested. Assist with refuelling, cleaning, and housekeeping while wearing required PPE in good order.
Operate within a safety-focused environment, following all site and company procedures to avoid endangering yourself or others. Monitor incoming wood loads to remove contamination like paper or plastic, reporting any hazards to line management. Contribute to team efforts through general site support and safe equipment handling.

Requirements
- Loading Shovel 360 or Telehandler licence
- Operate mobile and process plant per department requirements and training
- Operate static plant per department requirements and training
- Monitor incoming wood loads and remove contamination such as paper or plastic; report hazards
- Perform general housekeeping and cleaning using air hose lines and non-powered hand tools
- Conduct load inspection and packaging duties if trained
- Assist with site maintenance within own capabilities
- Load vehicles and containers with product
Responsibilities
